  PAST SPOTLIGHT STARS

2003
NOVEMBER: LACEY

OCTOBER: MANA

SEPTEMBER: ANGEL WILLIAMS

AUGUST: FORSAKEN

im:How long have you been in the wrestling business?
lacey:I've been in the business for 3 1/2 years.

im:.Would you ever go from Indy wrestling to mainstream?
lacey: Absolutely!

im:What are some of the challenges of being a wrestler, specifically in the
Indy circuit?
lacey: One of the challenges in particular in my case has been finding other
women to work. It is difficult to find women that are interested in
professional wrestling in my area and alot of times when I do finally find a few girls
to work they are usually really new in the business and I have to carry them
in the matches or they do not want to fight with my type of style in the ring
because I fight like a man. That is usually the challenge that I encounter.

im:Is there anyone person that you have to thank or that you look up to in
the wrestling business?
lacey: I would have to say that I am very thankful to my "husband-to-be"
Lumberjack Abe who has been in the business for 16 years. He talked me into
getting into the business and i'm very greatful to him for that. If it weren't for
him I wouldn't be who I am today. I don't know what I would be doing!
hahaha!!!!

im:What do you think about men  in wrestling?
lacey: I would have to say that men are what makes wrestling. When it came
to my training when I very first started it was all men that worked with me and
they actually gave me the aggression that was required to look great in the
ring as well as being believable in doing so and they gave me the motivation to
want to be like them in the ring and be tough as nails!

im:Who are the top five women's wrestlers in your opinion ?.
lacey: Chyna, Trish Stratus, Victoria, Jaqueline and Ivory. They're not only
beautiful women but they also have wonderful athletic ability! You don't see
a whole lot of that when it comes to women in wrestling and that is why I look
up to them.

im: If there was something that you could change about the wrestling business,
(Indy or mainstream) what would it be?
lacey: Less worrying about T&A and more about athleticism and ability with
the women. There's nothing wrong with a woman being beautiful and sexy but come
on, let's see more women actually "working it" in the ring.

im:What advice would you have to give to someone (young or old) that is
looking to get into the world of wrestling?
lacey: Priorities, whether they be your family, your marriage, or your job
come first......ALWAYS!!!!

im:which wrestler would you like to wrestle and haven't had a match with yet?
lacey: On the independent circuit it would be Crazy Kid Curry and in
Mainstream I would have to say Joannie Laurer, formerly known as "Chyna."

im:Would you ever be interested in running your own promotion?
lacey: No way! I've seen what it does to my friends that have done it and I
would not want the headache!!!!
